Monday 18 December - We will be holding our popular Chanukah Social at the home of Sandra in Edgware, number as below. Join us for doughnuts and other festive frivolities.
We had a good attendance for our November meeting, where four of our members spoke about Women of Note.
We heard a summary of the lives of Bess of Hardwick, Elizabeth Fry, Elizabeth Garrett Anderson and Karren Brady. It was an interesting and lively evening.
Tuesday 9 January – We will be eating out on this occasion at a

Tuesday 8 February – We are going to the Park Theatre, Finsbury Park, for the 15:00 performance of Rothschild & Sons. We will be meeting for lunch beforehand. All tickets have been sold, but to go on a waiting list or for more information, please contact Sandra on her number below.

Neurobics is a weekly group which meets at EHRS every Monday at 11am. The purpose of the group is to ‘unlock the secrets of staying young in an ageing society.’
Our methods are simple, and the strategies we teach are based on, “Challenging the Body, Stimulating the Brain and Lifting the Heart.”
Our aim is to manage, postpone, or even eliminate cognitive decline. Neurobics can add years to your life but also, ‘adds LIFE to your years.’
The numerous benefits of Neurobics include: - Enjoying better memories; Improving cognitive performance; Strategies to manage stress; Learning new skills to build cognitive reserve; Relaxation & meditation techniques; Tools to enjoy better sleep, Improved physical fitness and mobility; Learning strategies to improve balance, endurance, strength & flexibility; faster speed of reactions; Problem solving; Improved self-confidence & Improving general health & wellbeing. New members are always welcome!
Schmoozing with the Rabbis – A light hearted topical discussion, in an informal setting. Mondays from 10.30am until 12.15pm. The next session is 20 November with Rabbi Smith and 11 December with Rabbi Katz
Bridge – Our popular and friendly Wednesday afternoon sessions are held every week from 12.45pm until 4pm. Join us for an enjoyable and sociable afternoon, and still only £3 including tea. The last session before the summer break will be on 13 December
Zumba Gold – Dance and aerobics, to music with fast and slow rhythms ! Come along every Thursday, from 10.15am to 11.15am for only £5.
