Whether it be a wedding, birthday party, meeting, workshop or other event, EHRS has the space for you!

Our Function Hall is just one of several rooms and spaces available for hire at EHRS, with classrooms, meeting spaces and smaller halls also available to be set up to suit your event or activity.

The modern hall, approximately 16m x 13m (52’ x 43’), allows for functions of around 180 seated guests with plenty of space for dancing to music from the band or disco on the stage. By using an extension to increase the capacity, the room can then accommodate up to 220 guests.

Situated on the ground floor level access to the hall is through double doors leading to the Woolstone Gallery, in which receptions are often held, and from there through two sets of double doors to the hall. The ground floor cloakroom and toilets, including a dedicated disabled facility, are all easily accessible and the whole building is disabled friendly.

Although the Synagogue keeps a ‘milky’ kitchen for its own internal usage, it is happy to allow catered events where meat is served if prepared on the premises under approved rabbinical supervision. Catered events have taken place that are supervised under the recognised authorities.
